Something for Everyone

Community Clean-UPS

Everyday countless neighbors & organized commUNITY groups alike get together on a routine, often casual basis to roll up their sleeves, pick up trash and cover graffiti around the city. Efforts are ongoing. For more info & ways to get involved contact Liana, the Lemon Grove Lions Club, Improving Lemon Grove, or the Lemon Grove Veterans Group.

Recreation Center Reopening

Once a hub for positive mentorship the rec has been shuttered for years. CommUNITY members are meeting weekly to change that. The team is leading the reopening process by organizing events in the Rec center fields and courts. See here for the latest info and to join the effort.

Advocacy for Safer Streets

Given the most recent accident involving a child, there is an urgent call to action for city council to address some of the city’s most dangerous roads. Liana’s advocacy aims to encourage her colleagues to join the safety efforts and together, take action on behalf of the people. Have a story to tell? Please get in touch.
